Agarwood from Kalimantan | Top-tier Xin-Zhou region - Rich and Cooling Fragrance
Among the Xin-Zhou agarwood regions, Kalimantan agarwood has long been recognized as a representative of high-quality agarwood. Located in Indonesian Borneo, the island is vast, about fifteen times the size of Taiwan, yet has a relatively low population density. This allows the land to retain a large amount of pristine tropical rainforest, creating an ideal environment for the growth and resinification of natural agarwood trees.
In recent years, due to over-harvesting of agarwood resources, the production of natural Kalimantan agarwood has rapidly declined. Agarwood that yields high oil content and exquisite fragrance has become quite rare. High-quality Kalimantan agarwood circulating in the market today is often a matter of serendipity, possessing significant collectible value.
Kalimantan agarwood is known for its deep and rich aroma. The initial impression is a distinct woody agarwood scent, which gradually unfolds into a natural cooling sensation, interwoven with balsamic notes. Some older pieces may even reveal soft floral and fruity sweetness. The overall fragrance is layered, warm, and substantial, offering a pleasant experience that lingers without being overwhelming, deeply loved by agarwood connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
Currently, Kalimantan aged agarwood aged over thirty years is even more precious in the market. These pieces are often preserved by collectors from previous generations. Aged through time, their fragrance becomes more mellow and stable. Offered online, it allows collectors who appreciate agarwood to browse and purchase with peace of mind. Whether for daily enjoyment or long-term collection, it holds immense value.

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art breathed warm and profound life into ancient alleys. Objects, like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and outlines of the future, seek a subtle balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into delicate works that closely connect the vision of the new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for appreciation, is now solemnly placed in the place of honor in homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
The agarwood originates from its place of origin, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes such as glue-infusion, drawing lines, or essences. It is presented in its most natural form. Through ancient techniques, the dry outer layers are meticulously peeled away by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only bestows it with eternal vitality but also subtly interweaves tradition and modern craftsmanship at the fingertips, creating a feast for the eyes and the senses. Its rich fragrance is like the condensation of time, gently drawing together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the aroma, lingering endlessly, distant and profound.
