I've always loved the texture of this black linen; it possesses a drape that typical linen lacks, softened and made comfortable through an enzyme wash. I pondered how best to showcase this drape, so I began by freely cutting the fabric on a mannequin before creating the pattern. By cutting on the bias, the garment's lines achieve a more fluid and graceful silhouette. Measurements: Shoulder width 12 inches. Bust 38 inches. Armhole circumference 18 inches. Length: shortest side 24 inches, longest side 41 inches. Model is 158cm tall and weighs 47kg.
