The chestnut dish was created by accidentally getting a piece of two-color wood.
Generally, if you want to have two-color wood for carving, you need to glue and splicing, and then stick the two pieces of wood before engraving.
However, such a method of work, it is inevitable that there will be doubts about degumming and dislocation, and so on.
However, if the wood itself is a two-color part, it has both styling characteristics and practicality!
The chestnut tray uses the two-color part of the wood itself, and the material itself is integrally formed.
Also because the white part (the lower edge of the chestnut tray) is close to the bark, it is prone to cracks, and it is difficult to obtain a complete crack-free material.
Therefore, it is not easy to obtain a wood that is suitable for chestnut trays.
After a long period of hard work, I will share it with you in the early autumn.
