Records from the Song Dynasty mention a custom of collecting well water specifically at noon on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month for bathing, with ancient texts stating, "Bathing with well water collected at noon on the fifth day of the fifth month protects against illness for the year."
According to popular legend, noon on the Dragon Boat Festival (11 AM to 1 PM) is the time of year when yang energy is at its peak and most potent. "Noon water," collected from springs during this period and exposed to sunlight for an hour, is believed to absorb this pure yang energy. It is said to ward off misfortune, purify, and avert evil, also known as "extreme yang water." It can be used for healing, cleansing the body, purifying homes, improving luck, and dispelling negative energies.
Crafted with potent noon water and infused with powdered herbs like mugwort, moxa, basil, and lemongrass, our Peace Soap allows you to cleanse your body while invoking blessings of peace, dispelling impurities, and washing away all negative energy.
The workshop provides all materials and tools. All you need to bring is a joyful spirit, ready to embrace the happiness of crafting and feel the warm, handmade touch of soap. No prior experience is necessary; we'll guide you step-by-step, from fundamental theories and recipe calculations to personally stirring your own batch of soap, creating something from scratch with your own hands.
