The motifs are created by machine embroidering on water-soluble film and then dissolving the film, leaving only the Embroidery thread. As no fabric is used, the Clip-On are very light, weighing just 3g per pair including the metal fittings, so they are easy on the ears when worn. (3g = 3 1 yen coins) The motifs made of thread shine through in the sunlight and flutter lightly in the breeze, adding a touch of glamour to the face. The flower lover motif is based on the long-horned poppy, which blooms along roadsides and in vacant lots in early spring.
