Before Sewing Mother and Daughter Afternoon Tea I first drew an illustration. The colors in the illustration were very vibrant. I thought if a mother or daughter wore this vibrantly colored embroidered dress, it would feel very warm. So, I spent a long time sewing this embroidered design. Many colors, lines, and a warm story.
