It features the characteristics of natural tanning processes, with each hide possessing unique tones and patterns, ensuring that every strap is distinct. **Lining Leather** The lining leather used for the strap is also a vegetable-tanned leather called "Buttero" from the same Conceria Walpier tannery. As the lining leather is in direct contact with the skin, we exclusively use natural, undyed "Buttero" for this purpose. **Strap Thickness** The strap has a thickness of approximately 2.5 mm. Due to the significantly longer tanning process, limited automation, and the need for highly specialized artisans, vegetable-tanned leather is considerably more expensive and thus less common. It accounts for only 20% of the world's leather production, with chrome-tanned leather making up the remaining 80%. Unfortunately, it can be difficult for the inexperienced eye to distinguish it solely by sight. However, you can always trust your sense of smell; vegetable-tanned leather possesses a distinct, rich leather aroma that synthetic or plastic leathers lack.
