A: The wallet is made of vegetable-tanned leather, which is naturally firm and somewhat stiff. We intentionally make it slightly ajar during production because if it were too tightly fitted, it would be difficult to open and use for accessing cash and cards. Therefore, it's initially made to close at a semi-open angle. Q: Will it always remain half-open? A: There's no need to worry about this! Although vegetable-tanned leather is stiff initially, it softens after a few weeks of use. This is what people mean by genuine leather becoming softer and developing a patina over time.
