Real Panda Ride

As I stepped out of Ueno Station, I saw something unfamiliar parked outside. A panda ride! How nostalgic. Maybe I should give it a try. I climbed onto its back and grabbed the handles. I inserted 100 yen, and the panda ride began to walk. It moved at an unbelievably slow pace. Is it just because I’m an adult now that it feels so slow? Slowly but steadily, it kept moving. I thought it would run for about a minute. But the panda ride kept walking. After a while, it stopped. “Wow, that was fun. It’s been so long.” “No, I can still keep going. Just let me catch my breath for a moment.” Wait, what? Yes, the panda ride wasn’t a machine—it was a real, living panda ride. Come to think of it, I can hear it panting. And it feels warm.
