daynightmare 2023 Calendar note:water

‘note:water’ is a story I’ve woven together using lyrics from four songs. I’ve taken the liberty of piecing them together to narrate a tale. Most of the time, I’m not really "in the moment"; I’m just trying to live. I always feel this way. On days filled with a gentle weariness, I seek out quiet moments in the night to catch my breath. Following certain melodies, certain visuals, I strive to find my inner moisture, to nourish myself. It’s not always smooth sailing; often, I feel overwhelmed. To understand the source of this fatigue, I jot down a few words, drawing thick, steep black lines next to certain phrases. Then I close the notebook and drift to sleep. I document myself in every state, watching the hands of the clock move relentlessly forward, feeling a sense of unease. In those moments, I open my player again, finding familiar sounds, words like poetry, allowing myself to rest, to fall into a deep sleep. I hope I can always do this. I hope I can often look up at the sky. I hope I can continue to accompany myself beautifully. I hope I too can be someone who writes beautiful words. This year’s calendar is once again A3 size, with six inner pages, printed double-sided. Each month is independent, with one side for the first half of the year and the other for the second. A small hole has been punched through, allowing you to choose your preferred way of hanging it. This offers a chance for personal expression. The last photo shows all the inner pages.
