Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Studied advertising design in vocational school from 1993, integrating design concepts into his work. Established his own studio in 1994. 2000: Received an honorable mention in the craft category at the 14th Nanying Art Exhibition for his work "Waiting for the Opportunity." August: Participated in a jade and stone exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. 2001: Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival for live carving in the local creation area. 2002: Selected for the "Dream of Craftsmanship" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition. January: Participated in a jade and stone exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau. May: Exhibited in the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" in Changhua County, showcasing jade and stone carvings. October-December: Invited by the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Cultural Foundation and Hualien County Cultural Affairs Bureau for the "Grand View of Stones" exhibition, touring department stores in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. 2003: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute to exhibit works such as "Lotus Ecological Charm" at the Presidential Office's "Taitung Local Craft Exhibition." 2004: March-June: Featured in the "Art and Culture Corridor - Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Stone Carving Exhibition" on National Education Radio. Mid-December: Exhibited at the Pacific Sogo Department Store's "Craftsmanship Masters" exhibition. 2007: Invited to participate in the "Craftsmanship at Your Fingertips - Applied Crafts for Daily Life" exhibition at the Executive Yuan Gallery, organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute. 2008: His work "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi" was selected for the "Taiwan Craft Competition" by the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute. 2012: His work "Half Thought" received an honorable mention in the traditional craft category at the "Taiwan Craft Competition" organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute's Research and Development Center. His work "Tranquil Mountain Landscape" received an honorable mention in the craft category at the 21st Nanying Awards in Tainan City. 2013: Invited to exhibit in the "Gathering of Jade Carving Masters from Both Sides of the Strait" at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, showcasing his work in the Taiwanese Jade Master section. 2016: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit three works – "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi," "Handmade Mini Mochi," and "Leaping Moment" – at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Gathering Around the Hearth - Sustainable Craft Exhibition." 2017: His work "Lingering Lotus in Spring" received an honorable mention at the Taoyuan Arts Exhibition in Taoyuan City. 2018: Held his solo exhibition, "Xie Zhong-Ren Jade Carving 30 Years: The Continuation of Culture," at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. 2019: January-June: Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center to exhibit his work "Auspicious Dragon Offering Blessings" at the Presidential Office Gallery's "Feast · Happiness" exhibition. 2020: "Joyful Heart, Shining Art - Taiwan Craft Development Association Boutique Exhibition" was jointly held at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau (July 29 - August 16, 2020) and the Taipei Contemporary Craft Design Branch of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center (October 6, 2020 - February 28, 2021). 2021: His work "Japanese-Style Nigiri Sushi" was exhibited at the "Creative Regeneration Green Craft" exhibition organized by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center (October-November).
