"KOGA Tableware" is a brand built by the fourth generation of the Yingee Pottery Family, Shu Shigang (Steve Shu), and his wife Wu Jiahua (Amy Wu), through the Taiwan Design Research Institute T22 production area revitalization plan, and learned from Japan's Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten.
We invited [Biaugust Creation] directors, Lu Naiyun and Zhuang Ruihao, who have a design background in Japan to perfectly combine Japanese and Taiwanese thinking with their unique design perspectives, to interpret the characteristics and personality of the new brand in their minds.

福(Fu) 祿(Lu) 壽(Shou) 喜(Xi) the words mean fortune, prosperity, longevity, and happiness, they are the most auspicious words for humble and simple Taiwanese, Lu and six homophonic, and the six symbolizes prosperity. Therefore, the hexagonal shape that represents a good omen is transformed into a design element, which can be seen everywhere in our daily life, praying for ordinary and beautiful life ︒

● Please use a soft sponge for scrubbing, and do not use iron brushes or hard cleaning appliances to prevent scratches on the surface of the ceramics for prolonging the life of products.
● Due to the design and firing method, the bottom part of the ware is made of unglazed clay. It is recommended to wipe it dry, upside down or hang it after cleaning.

● For pottery products, the black spots on the surface are the natural and unique appearance of the iron and minerals in the soil after high temperature firing.
