This is a bamboo chashaku for scooping matcha. It is finished one by one by artisans in Takayama, Nara Prefecture. While there are various types in terms of material and shape, this is a standard form chashaku, mainly used in tea ceremonies. *Due to being handmade and using natural materials, the texture and color tone will vary for each individual item. *When cleaning, gently wipe off the matcha with a dry cloth. *As natural materials are used, there will be individual differences in the appearance of knots, bamboo patterns, and color tones.
