■ Please be sure to read the following before purchasing ■
〈About the work〉
※ The findings and the base of the Kintsugi are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※ The findings may change to silver for some works (such as those with translucent materials like sea glass or natural stones). Please be assured that the material will remain the same.
※ What is Kintsugi... It is a traditional Japanese technique that revives ceramics damaged by chips, cracks, or breaks using lacquer and gold powder.
※ We use new urushi lacquer, which is less likely to cause irritation, and gold powder (brass powder), rather than genuine urushi lacquer.
※ Natural stones are natural materials, so they may contain impurities or have fine scratches or small chips. Please understand that these are natural variations.
※ Please understand that variations in glaze are characteristic of handmade items.
In particular, the sides of Mino ware tiles often show such variations.
※ Individual differences exist regarding allergies to metal, resin, and urushi. If you experience any skin reactions, please discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.
We are not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions caused by the product.
※ The actual color may differ slightly from the product images depending on your monitor, brightness, and screen environment.
〈Care instructions〉
※ Please handle gently, as applying strong force may cause damage.
※ Be careful not to rub the Kintsugi area forcefully or soak it in water for extended periods, as this may cause it to detach.
When cleaning, gently wipe off dirt with a soft cloth.
※ Store away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight. This may cause discoloration.

※Kintsugi (金繕い) is a unique traditional Japanese repair method that uses lacquer and gold powder to mend broken or chipped ceramics. We use a simplified Kintsugi technique, employing new urushi lacquer and gold powder (brass powder), which are less likely to cause irritation compared to genuine urushi lacquer derived from the sap of lac trees. For reinforcement, UV resin is also used.
