This is a single earring featuring iridescent Roman glass, abundant aquamarine, moonstone, freshwater pearls, small mother-of-pearl flowers, and ethnic beads. Roman glass is glass from the Roman Empire era (27 BC - 395 AD). These are fragments of what were once vessels, polished and drilled with holes. Iridescence occurs when glass, buried underground for many years, undergoes a chemical reaction with the soil's components, creating this sparkling brilliance. Not all glass buried for long periods develops iridescence; this phenomenon only appears when various conditions align. Chipping may be visible. The glass itself is soda green in color. (Roman glass size: 3cm length, 1.4cm width) *The iridescent part may peel off. This sparkle can be lost through rubbing or contact with skin oils. Even if the iridescent shine fades, you can still enjoy the color of the ancient glass itself, so we hope you'll enjoy wearing it as it develops its character over time.
