The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, heirlooms from around the 18th century, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India. These carnelian beads possess a captivating, deep hue. While they bear marks of age, these imperfections contribute to their profound character. (Mizoram Carnelian size: 0.7cm width, 0.8cm diameter) The lustrous, striped beads are ancient agate from Afghanistan, dating back over 1200 years. Their striking monochrome palette adds a cool, distinctive edge. (Ancient Agate size: 0.7cm diameter) The beads with a dull golden sheen and the charms next to the ancient agate are old Orissa brass. These are antique brass beads from the Orissa state of India, making them exceptionally rare metal beads. The charm on the clasp is antique Indian silver, crafted between the 19th and early 20th centuries. With wear, it is expected to develop a unique patina. The central motif depicts Shiva (also known as the Bell God).
