This is an SDGs jewelry piece featuring Kintsugi, upcycled from Arita ware. Broken or chipped ceramics that are no longer in use are upcycled and transformed into accessories with Kintsugi. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses natural lacquer from the urushi tree, this piece uses adhesive for bonding.
