Re:Cooo

Through trial and error, I tried to see if I could use these wonderful objects as materials to create something. Rather than clashing with each other, wouldn't it be possible to create a wonderful and enjoyable piece by fusing these objects together? As I continued with the production, I found myself feeling very happy, as if I was having a session with the objects. I felt that another purpose of recycling is to give things a different purpose after they have completed their intended purpose. This work was created with the hope that one day the word "recycle" will no longer be used. It was important for the artist to enjoy the work and to infuse that enjoyment into the piece. The style of the work is unique and warm rather than cool, creating a piece that will make you chuckle. By doing so, I thought I would be able to appeal to a wider range of age groups. For the base ukulele, I decided to make a fish-shaped spaceship, as the shape of the instrument suggested. The neck of the ukulele was cut to make the shape more compact, and the body of the instrument, which is a spaceship, was painted with starry sky paint to create a spectacular image. The back panel is made of plywood with a painted finish that resembles rusty iron. We used Mizuhiki cords that came with gift envelopes at weddings and arranged them all over the board. The glittering and celebratory feel enhances the spaceship. The illuminations are positioned to take advantage of the three-dimensional feel and unevenness of the entire piece.
