A brooch designed in the motif of a Dalahäst, a carved wooden horse originating from the Dalarna region of Sweden.
Referred to as a "horse that brings happiness," its origins trace back to early 18th-century toys crafted for children in Dalarna. The horse is adorned with Kurbits, a distinctive decorative folk art style featuring stylized, imaginary flowers.
These toys began as creations by woodcutters during long winter nights in forest cabins, made with knives for their children. They have since evolved into a widely recognized and representative traditional handicraft of Sweden.
This brooch is finished with vibrant colors and antique-style details like subtle fading and variations, creating a charming accessory that adds a unique accent to your attire.
Enjoy a stylish coordination, whether paired with a simple dress or as a pop of color to liven up your outfit.
Size: Approximately 40mm x 42mm (uses a 28mm rotating lock pin)
[Manufacturing Method and Features]
★ Formed by curing elastic and hard resins over an original illustration.
A glossy coating is applied, resulting in a lightweight and lustrous brooch.
Made from paper and resin, it is light and comfortable to wear, making it suitable for the collars of lightweight knits without damaging the fabric or causing it to droop.
★ A rotating lock pin is used to prevent accidental loss.
★ Delivered in a decorative box, perfect for storage or gifting.
[Wrapping]
To bring a little joy upon opening, all purchased items are sent with simple gift wrapping.
For gifts to loved ones, we offer complimentary temporary wrapping so you can check the contents before sealing.
After checking, please seal with the included tape.
For multiple gift wrappings, we will include gift bags for protection and to reduce shipping costs. Please inquire.
[Handling and Care]
This item is made by coating paper with resin.
Please be aware that contact with moisture may cause peeling.
Additionally, resin products can undergo hydrolysis when stored for extended periods in sealed, high-temperature, and high-humidity conditions, leading to a sticky reaction. Prolonged exposure to UV rays may also cause discoloration.
Please store in a dark, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity. The use of desiccants is also recommended.
After use, we recommend cleaning with a soft cloth, such as a lens cloth.
Rotating the circular part of the metal pin engages the lock, making it difficult to remove and preventing loss. Please use the lock.
Due to the design, this piece has pointed parts, so please be careful not to scratch clothing or skin.
