Fine threads are doubled and gently handwoven, creating a product that, unlike machine-woven items, traps air for a fluffy softness and a very smooth texture that drapes lightly. Delicate and intricate patterns are woven with soft ivory threads for the warp and a grayish Prussian blue for the weft. In Japanese traditional colors, it's a beautiful hue close to Fukihanada. The weave and color appear differently on the front and back, allowing for various expressions depending on how you wear it.
