ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) ZENITAR-M lens provides and very sharp and nice images, it have more better glory than usual HELIOS-44 series lenses, mostly standard for Soviet Zenit cameras. This famous lens was designed by L.S. Yurchenko manufactured in the USSR, and features outstanding sharpness, contrast and color rendition with fine bokeh. I saw photos taken with similar lenses several times before and I appreciated excellent pictures quality. In the main, most all Soviet and Russian lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! It can be used with a lot of digital MFT & SLR with simple and inexpensive adapter. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+ The glass is very clean and will provide nice photos to you, with no any scratches, separations or fungus, but some very minor cleaning marks or pieces of dust inside sometimes can be found (see the note below, please). Aperture is smooth, aperture blades jumps properly. Focusing is smooth too. Cosmetically lens looks in nice condition, just examine item's photo please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus: 50 mm. * Angle of view: 43 degrees for 18x24 mm frame size. * Resolution: (in pairs of lines per 1mm, for fully opened aperture) not less than 43 in the center and 24 on the edge of frame.* Relative aperture: 1:1.9 (up to 1:16 with 1/2 f-stop clicks). * Springblend aperture with push-up pin which closes the aperture when shutter release button is depressed or the shutter fires. * Aperture has no Auto-Manual switch, it shows installed meaning when aperture pin is depressed. * Lens mount M42 (known also as Pentax Screw Mount), same with huge quantity of lenses for old Praktica, Pentax, Yashica, Cosina and other cameras with optical registration 45.5mm. * Mounting to modern SLR, MFT & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. * Focusing from 0.45 m. * Scale of distances in meters. * Filter mount M 52x0.75mm. * The lens was made in USSR at KMZ plant at Krasnogorsk town near the Moscow city in 1991.
