In October 2025, while visiting a deity, I discovered that the decorative animal behind the Yue Lao (Matchmaker Deity) shrine was a Pegasus! It immediately brought to mind the saying "A thousand miles of love tied by a single thread" and I understood the allusion to using the "horse" motif when the temple was built. Coincidentally, 2026 is the Year of the Horse (Wu Ma) according to the zodiac, so I immediately wanted to create merchandise for 2026. I sought divine approval by casting divination blocks (zhi biao) to see if I could create Pegasus-themed merchandise. A clear, affirmative answer! I am truly grateful for the blessings of heaven and earth~ After designing and producing the items, I couldn't wait to share them with the deity (casting divination blocks again) and received a joyful response! Both in the East and West, horses are revered as noble steeds and divine creatures (like Pegasus, unicorns, etc.). "Chunlian" (Spring Festival couplets) and "Doufang" (square paper decorations) are the most common forms of auspicious charms. We have specifically chosen high-quality paper, hoping that you won't only use them during the Lunar New Year but will also further fold or cut them to use as covers for ledgers or small notebooks, or for packaging small items.
