Each nib is thoroughly inspected before shipment. Please ensure you understand how to use a fountain pen before making a purchase. (1) A fountain pen is a traditional writing instrument that utilizes capillary action to deliver ink from the nib. To write smoothly, the nib should be held at an angle, facing upwards. This differs from rollerball pens, which can write at any angle as long as the ballpoint can roll. (2) It is recommended to use the included converter for filling ink. Only use fountain pen-specific ink to prevent clogs or inconsistent ink flow. Cartridge ink may take longer to reach the nib initially and won't flow as smoothly as with a converter; please be aware of this. (3) If ink flow becomes uneven while writing, do not press down hard on the nib, as this can cause excessive ink flow and damage the nib over time. Please check if the ink has dried and solidified due to infrequent use. (4) If the pen will be unused for an extended period, thoroughly clean the nib and converter by repeatedly drawing clean water through them before storing. This prevents ink from drying and solidifying within the feed, which could lead to poor ink flow in the future. (5) All wooden fountain pens are aged for over two months before shipment, and the wood is stabilized for years before production. They are carefully inspected before dispatch. Ordinary seasonal changes will not cause the wood to crack. However, please avoid storing or using the pen in a dehumidifier or in extremely dry environments/regions.
