For makeup stains, use a makeup remover to gently wipe away some of the stain first, then wash with detergent. (Do not use bleach.) If machine washing, please place the headband in a laundry bag. As the fabric is pure cotton, it "wrinkles easily." After spinning or wringing, be sure to "shake out, flatten, and air dry." (Avoid direct sunlight, as it can damage cotton fibers.) * If the fabric is very wrinkled, you can place a thin cotton cloth over the headband and iron it flat with a 100-degree iron.
