We do not recommend using pottery in electric steamers, microwave ovens, ovens, or over direct flame. Avoid sudden temperature changes (rapid heating or cooling) to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is made from heat-resistant clay specifically designed for such appliances. 2. If ceramic pieces are intended for use as tableware, thoroughly rinse and clean any surface dirt before the first use. For cleaning, use a sponge or soft scrub pad with a mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Afterward, wipe dry with a cloth and place in a well-ventilated area to air dry, preventing mold. 3. The piece can hold hot water or food. The glaze surface will gradually develop fine cracks upon heating and cooling, which is a normal occurrence.
