Reversible Half-Width Obi ALICE

We've brought back the ALICE half-width obi, first released in 2016. One side features the English text from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," laid out faithfully to the original. At the end of the obi, a bookmark shaped like a "drink me" label is attached. The other side is based on the color of Alice's dress, with a pattern of a king's crown from the story as a symbolic motif. At the end of this side, an illustration of the Cheshire Cat, disappearing with a grin, is placed. If you look closely, the Cheshire Cat is wearing braces. When tied in a "Karatea Musubi" (a specific obi knot), it evokes the image of pages from a book you're reading fluttering open. *This product is sold as a single half-width obi. ● Material: 100% Polyester (100% Cotton Obi Core) ● Care: Due to differing shrinkage rates between the obi fabric and the core, washing the entire obi may cause it to lose its shape.
