Inspired by the concept of postmarks and stamps, these four designs incorporate text and imagery of women's fashion. They can be stamped directly onto small cards or tracing paper to add layers to your collages. The stamps are small, measuring 3x4cm, fitting comfortably in the palm of your hand, with delicate lines that evoke a hand-drawn texture. Material: Beechwood handle, creamy white ink pad surface Dimensions: 3x4cm, approximately 2cm in height *The beechwood handle is made from natural material; variations in grain depth and pattern mean each handle is unique. Ink Pad Recommendations: We tested three brands and five ink pad colors in our studio: VersaMagic Dew Drop (gingerbread), VersaFine (smokey gray, olympia green, spanish moss), and Liby Day (black). We experimented on white paper and tracing paper; refer to the product images for actual results. Test on white paper: The VersaMagic Dew Drop ink pad produced finer, sharper lines. The VersaFine and Liby Day black ink pads created a vintage station stamp effect. All three were smudge-proof once dry. Test on tracing paper: The Liby Day black ink pad yielded the finest lines, followed closely by the VersaMagic Dew Drop. Both of these were smudge-proof when dry. The VersaFine ink pad smudged easily on tracing paper, so we recommend using different paper types. A small tip for stamping: gently tap the ink pad onto the stamp surface, ensuring even ink coverage without overflow. Pay attention to the amount of ink. Smoother paper can achieve more delicate lines, but may not hold a thick layer of ink, which could lead to smudging after drying. We suggest doing a test run with your available ink pads and papers to understand their properties. This will help you easily create fine lines.
