In Japan, this plant is often seen around springtime, and if you look closely at its leaves, you'll notice they are heart-shaped. As the warm spring season arrives and the grasslands turn green, spotting Penpen Grass brings a sense of joy. It's a scene I've long wished to capture in a design. The name "Penpen Grass" comes from Japan, where it makes a "pen-pen" sound when rubbed and shaken between the palms of both hands. As children, we often played, making the "pen-pen" sound. This is the sizing for Kachua's signature wrap dress. It is printed using the traditional 'dabu print' mud resist dyeing technique and dyed with indigo and kashish. This wrap dress can be styled not only as a dress but also as a layering piece, tied at the front like a robe. It features pockets on both sides. The wrap design and the gathers at the waist enhance a feminine silhouette. For those around 156cm in height, the length falls below the calf.
