In a small space within my home, I create small textile accessories and hand-embroidered works in limited quantities. The Japanese pronunciation of "Ichimai Nuno" is "ichi.mai.nuno," which translates to "one piece of cloth" in Chinese. I recall when I first moved to Japan, I bought a single piece of cloth and made my very first fabric bag... I was so excited! This experience marked the beginning of my journey into the world of textile crafts. "Ichimai Nuno" is also the fundamental element of textile crafting, hence the name of my brand. 𓏸𓂂𓈒Meet the Designer𓈒𓂂𓏸 I am a Taiwanese individual residing in Japan. I came to Japan in 2003 and have since been interested in self-learning to make fabric bags, small textile items, and even handmade clothing. Later, I obtained a certification as an embroidery instructor from the Nihon Shishu Yūkyū Kyōkai (Japan Handicraft Promotion Association). In 2015, I began sharing my daily textile creations under the Facebook page name "Ichimai Nuno. Everyday Fabric Crafts in Japan." I frequently visit craft stores in Kobe and Osaka to select high-quality materials. My work primarily uses natural cotton and linen fabrics, combined with hand-embroidery techniques. My aim is to express a style that is both sophisticated and charmingly cute, suitable for adults.
