The polishing cloth should not be washed. 〃 Lightly brush with a toothbrush dipped in toothpaste or dish soap and a little water, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. 〃 When not wearing, wipe clean and place in a ziplock bag or jewelry box to prevent oxidation from air exposure. 〃 Do not wear silver jewelry when bathing in hot springs, as sulfur will cause the silver to turn black. 〃 Soak silver jewelry in a silver cleaning solution. Remove after it turns white, and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The jewelry will need polishing to prevent damage from repeated use of the silver cleaning solution. 〃 Use a soft cloth or cotton pad to apply a small amount of silver polish, rub it onto the jewelry surface, and rinse with clean water. 〃 Do not use silver cleaning solution on plated jewelry, as it may damage the item.
