It was cultivated by the renowned Japanese nursery, Nichikiyuan. This variety features spoon-shaped leaves that are elongated, whitish, with distinct brown-red spots and wide spacing. The leaves are covered in a downy, velvet-like fuzz, and it belongs to the extremely short-stemmed rabbit ear varieties, being the shortest among them all. It rarely grows tall, and its leaf shape is particularly unique, resembling an equilateral triangle. The dark spots are evenly distributed along the leaf edges, with the leaf surface being slightly concave and the tips subtly curving outwards, giving it an exquisitely cute appearance! 【Growth Habits and Cultivation】 It is robust and thrives in ample sunlight, cool, and dry conditions. Apart from needing partial shade during the summer months, it can be grown outdoors in other seasons. However, it should be protected from rain during the rainy season. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. The soil mix can be quite flexible, with a slightly higher proportion of peat moss. Adding base fertilizer is recommended, and garden soil can also be used for planting. 【Propagation Methods】 Panda Bear Ears can be propagated through leaf cuttings, which have a very high success rate.
