This process results in a fabric that is "light," "soft," and develops a relaxed, natural texture that ages beautifully rather than deteriorating. We cherish this characteristic. Because we use shuttle looms that are over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of antique machinery, we diligently work to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric, using them in less conspicuous areas when unavoidable. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it's impossible to eliminate them entirely.
