The overlapping glazes melted together during firing, creating a flowing pattern. Because it is a deep bowl, it can be used not only as a serving bowl, but also for rice bowls, noodles, etc. Although the color is vivid, the ash glaze gives it a rustic and calm look, so it harmonizes with a variety of ingredients. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. It is a little heavy to hold, but that makes it feel like pottery. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, and you can enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand.
