This piece features highly organic grain patterns. Paraguayan green sandalwood is among the heaviest woods in the world and is also the most oil-rich sandalwood. Its natural color can shift from yellow to green, and it releases a rich aroma, with grain patterns that possess a distinctive charm. It is currently a rare material, with concerns of endangerment, and its export is restricted by Paraguay. Dimensions: Length 56.5 cm, Width approximately 12.5 cm (narrowest point), Thickness 2 cm. The material itself may have natural characteristics such as small holes, which are inherent to non-standard materials. In processing the wood, we strive for a balance between human craftsmanship and natural qualities, though perfection in all aspects is challenging. Green sandalwood will naturally revert from green to yellow if left in the shade for extended periods. Moderate sun exposure can restore its green hue. However, avoid excessive direct sunlight; approximately 20 minutes at a time (adjustable based on desired color) is recommended. If the wood surface becomes slightly rough after sun exposure, it can be gently smoothed with a sheet of plain white A4 paper.
