รายละเอียดสินค้า

We've put our ingenuity into varying the embroidery techniques. This bag, with its motifs of green, grass, and butterflies, offers a sense of calm. This perfectly sized bag can be worn on the front or back, and its three-dimensional construction conforms comfortably to your body. The strap length can also be adjusted in two places, making it suitable for both men and women. ◎ The bag features different embroidery on each side. Each piece has a unique expression, meticulously crafted by skilled artisan Hun using freehand embroidery. ◎ The hardware is unified in an antique gold finish, creating a nostalgic and gentle impression. ◎ The bag is equipped with a YKK zipper for closure. ◎ High-quality brown cowhide leather is used for the exterior. ◎ The bag's outer fabric is a green polyester material. ◎ The interior lining is a navy fabric with a polka dot pattern. It includes one zippered pocket. ◎ A 9.7-inch iPad fits snugly inside. ◎ The body mannequin is a size S. ◎ The photos show the bag for right-handed use. ■ Size: 27cm (Width) x 42cm (Body) ■ Weight: 350g ■ Product Number: 9E52A148L38 * As the products are handmade, there may be individual differences. This is especially true for items with darts and gathers, where measurements can vary by several centimeters. Therefore, please consider the size holistically, including the photos. Also, please note that photos often make the product appear larger when it is positioned in front of the mannequin. 《Brown Leather, Green Fabric》 Type This item will be shipped from Vietnam via standard mail with tracking. Created by a Japanese resident in Vietnam. https://youtu.be/To9853__kGY The Fading Art of "Freehand Embroidery" Most of the embroidery at Pangandaran is done using "freehand embroidery." We are often asked, "How is freehand embroidery different from regular machine embroidery?" Regular machine embroidery is automated; the machine reads the design and stitches it automatically, resulting in uniform, identical pieces. In contrast, "freehand embroidery" is a craft where the artisan manually moves the fabric as they stitch the design. Because it's made by human hands, each piece has a unique character. No two embroidery pieces are exactly alike, and the finished embroidery has a texture that resembles hand-stitching. It's an incredible artisan skill that involves transferring an outline to the fabric and stitching while referring to the original design, coordinating with the up-and-down movement of the sewing machine needle – just imagining it is impressive. Currently, there are only about 400 people in Vietnam who can perform freehand embroidery. Of these, only about 50 work professionally. Furthermore, only 30 have passed the highest embroidery certification level, Level 4. Among them, only 10 can execute the intricate embroidery required by Pangandaran. However, being skilled isn't enough; embroidery requires a sense of style. Subtle nuances can significantly alter the overall impression. Therefore, at Pangandaran, we entrust our work to Hun, a master artisan. Hun is currently 46 years old but has been embroidering since the age of 15, making him a veteran of 31 years in this field. Moreover, he possesses a remarkable sense of style. We have complete faith in him. Due to recent economic development, traditional craft workplaces in Vietnam, like elsewhere, face challenges. Since 2000, the number of people capable of freehand embroidery has been rapidly declining. While there used to be schools, now skilled artisans teach apprentices. Hun has trained four people so far, but he notes that there are no young people capable of this craft these days. With rapid economic growth, manual crafts are being left behind, and the number of artisans is expected to decrease further. This trend is accelerating faster than in Japan, and the national systems do not actively protect these traditions. As a result, Vietnam's freehand embroidery is on the verge of disappearing within the next decade or so. In this video, we had the privilege of having the skilled artisan Hun create the "Sudden Rain Embroidery." Please witness the beautiful embroidery brought to life with his assured technique.
