INTRODUCTION OF CORK:
Water Pine (also known as cork) is the bark of Daimyo Oak, it would be compressed into a thin layer of fabric after plucked out and sterilized. Cork is capable of experiencing picking off repeatedly because of its’ continuously growth; it would grow approximately an inch long in about 10 months and expand layer upon layer every 8 years. It is also the ideal material for making different sort of bags due to its’ fine grain, soft texture, good formation as well as the characteristic of water resistance.
PROCESS OF MANUFACTURING:
We would get the fabric of corkwood printed on linen making it rigid and peel off uneasily because it is relatively thin. A high quality of cotton lining is also coupled with the inner bag to make it firm and solid.
