Cultivating Tahitian black pearls is challenging; the process of nurturing pearl oysters is long and prone to mortality, and factors such as weather and water quality make finished products extremely rare. In the South Pacific, between Australia and South America, lies a series of coral islands. This region is abundant with "black-lipped" pearl oysters, mollusks that secrete gray and black nacre. Legend has it that Oro, the god of peace and fertility, descended to the mortal realm on a rainbow and presented the Te Ufi pearl oyster to humanity. There is also a legend that Oro gave the pearl from the oyster to the beautiful princess Bora Bora as a symbol of his love for her. Another tale suggests that the coral spirit Okana and the sand god Uaro clothed the Te Ufi pearl oyster in a brocade robe, making it shimmer with the colors of the myriad fish in the Polynesian waters. Ms. Saori has selected 36 Tahitian black pearls, each with a diameter of 1.0-13.0mm, and strung them in order to create a necklace approximately 45cm in length when straightened. This forms a luxurious Tahitian black pearl necklace with a platinum gray luster, weighing an impressive 70.8 grams. The Tahitian black pearls are large and round with a fine surface luster. The primary color is platinum gray, with secondary colors including peacock green, peacock blue, platinum gray, mysterious purple, and iridescent hues, making them rare and mysterious, evoking awe at the power of nature and the brilliance of the heavens. Ms. Saori has paired them with a simple S925 silver ingot clasp, adding a touch of dignified nobility while ensuring comfort.
