The bracelet is signed: "TRIFARI" and "PAT PEND" - signature without a crown and the © "copyright" mark allow us to date this beautiful bracelet as late 1940s - early 1950s. In terms of style and material, it looks more like the 1940s. Material - sterling silver with gold-plating, characteristic to the 1940s. The design of the bracelet reflects the style of Alfred Philippe, who worked as the chief designer from the early 1930s to 1968. Prior to that, Philippe had worked in Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, but the Great Depression forced masters jewelers to retrain as costume jewelry designers. Bracelet size: approximately 7 inches / 18 cm, weight: 23 g. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition.
