Please be mindful of color transfer, especially when new. Avoid wearing with light-colored clothing when first using the item. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are preserved on both the surface and the back. This natural leather, intentionally crafted to showcase its inherent qualities, results in a unique piece with its own distinct character. ◾️ Color Variation As the leather is finished using only dyes and no pigments, color adjustment is challenging, leading to inevitable color variations. Even within the same color, there can be slight differences. This dye finish contributes to the authentic, natural feel of the leather. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain The grain refers to the wrinkled pattern on the leather's surface. The density of this pattern can vary across a single hide, with some areas showing more pronounced grain than others. These variations are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ Markings of Italian Leather: Numbers Indicating Hide Size The numbers on the reverse side serve as a mark of Italian leather, indicating the size of the hide. Each number is stamped once per hide. The lettering has a distinctive aesthetic and is typically found on high-quality sections, so it is often incorporated as is. Occasionally, these numbers may appear on the product. Personally, I appreciate items with these numbers. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water, potentially leading to stains. If the item gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible to prevent stains. Applying Renapur Leather Balsam can provide water-repellent properties. ◾️ Shagreen (Toro) This refers to the streaks and wrinkles found in areas of intense muscle movement and stretching. It is a natural characteristic of genuine leather, not a sign of cracking or splitting. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather goods are made by bonding thin leather with a core material for strength, and often include an inner lining. However, unlike leather, linings can degrade over time, becoming sticky or tattered. To ensure longevity, this item is constructed using only substantial leather, utilizing its natural thickness and strength, without an inner lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES&GENTLEMEN will develop a richer luster and deeper character over time with oil-based maintenance. Apply oil to bags approximately every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Renapur, available in our online store. Renapur is a leather treatment that conditions, adds shine, and provides water repellency. Small leather goods, due to frequent handling, will naturally develop a lustrous sheen without additional treatment. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges We do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of damage or defects caused during shipping, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will replace it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for small items and 3-4 weeks for bags.
