Embroidered patches are often called fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery motifs. However, most fabric patches require ironing to adhere to fabric surfaces or to mend holes. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for non-fabric smooth surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Create something unique with our patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For non-fabric smooth surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, moving back and forth. Let it cool to set firmly. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, you can also sew them onto fabric using a sewing machine or by hand for a secure attachment! 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure them. This prevents high heat from damaging your fabric. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive that adheres well to general non-fabric smooth surfaces and is not prone to peeling off. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing are recommended for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be repositioned? The adhesive on our embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be repositioned. Please confirm your desired placement before applying. If you remove the patch, the fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidered patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Before using any cleaner, please check if the surface material of your item is suitable for the cleaner to avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive can melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
