Each piece is handcrafted, resulting in minor variations in size. The clay color and glaze may differ due to variations in kiln atmosphere and temperature, which is part of the charm and unique character of handmade ceramics. Those who prefer absolute perfection are encouraged to review the product details carefully before making a purchase decision. | Pre-use & Care Instructions | 1. It is not recommended to place pottery in electric steamers, microwave ovens, conventional ovens, or over direct flame. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is made from heat-resistant clay specifically designed for such use. 2. If the ceramic ware is intended for food consumption, please rinse and clean off any surface dirt before the first use. For cleaning, use a sponge or a soft scrubbing pad with a neutral dish soap. Please refrain from using abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Afterward, wipe dry with a cloth and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. The cup can be used for hot water and hot food. The glaze surface may develop fine crackles over time with exposure to heat and cooling, which is a normal phenomenon. Each mark of use will be absorbed by the pottery, gradually imbuing it with the warmth of your daily life. 4. Matte glazes may show tea stains or marks from dark-colored foods more readily than glossy glazes.
