This is an asymmetrical earring design~ One side features a floral cascade, accented with faceted crystals that resemble a single dewdrop. The other side uses a long chain ear post, allowing you to freely adjust the length. For instance: The lotus is also known as the water lily, the gentleman's flower, or water hibiscus. "Lotus" is the scientific name, while "water lily" is the common name. In botanical classification, it belongs to the "Nymphaeaceae" family and the "Nelumbo" genus. I used to confuse lotus and water lily, but I clarified it for this piece. "He" (荷) refers to the flower and leaves. "Lian" (蓮) refers to the fruit, the lotus seed. In ancient times, a bloomed flower was called "Fu Qu" (芙蕖), and an unopened flower was called "Han Dan" (菡萏).
