The turning point for this style shift was in 1995. “At first, I was painting animals that appeared in my dreams on canvas, and interesting characters were born unexpectedly, so I decided to continue painting them along this line.” Yaphidu has delicate brushstrokes and is good at using bright colors. He once lived in South Africa and made a living by painting. He has now returned to Tanzania, is married and has two children. "I am the only artist who inherited the style of Mr. Amonde. I will let Amonde's style spread to the world." Yaphidu has also been invited to Japan for many tours and has been well received by the audience. He has been there four times so far. Yaphidu was also invited by Vanka Art Gallery to be a guest speaker in the "Tinga Tinga Children's Painting Class", teaching children to paint via remote video chat in Taiwan. https://www.afanga.com/uploads/5/2/9/8/52983961/yaphidu-2.jpg -- Thank you for liking our products.
