The beautifully phrased Tang poems are the essence of literature, refined through the crucible of great eras.
The "Poetry with Manager Dog" series innovatively uses an approach that, during the golden age of early childhood learning, allows children to immerse themselves in beautiful verses through shared reading of picture book stories. This nurtures an appreciation for the beauty of language, making it the ideal introductory book for guiding young children into the world of classical Chinese literature.
__**★ Aesthetic Development and Natural Cognition ★**__
The illustrations are delicate and warm, with exquisite and elegant color palettes, providing visual cultivation alongside reading.
Modern, everyday stories are inspired by the content of the Tang poems, creating an easy connection with the life experiences of contemporary readers.
__**★ Bilingual Design: Satisfy Language Learning All at Once ★**__
Includes both Chinese and English. The Tang poetry verses are also accompanied by phonetic symbols and Pinyin, offering multiple language structures that can be flexibly adapted.
This allows young children to progress from listening to their parents read, to reading along, and eventually to reading independently.
__**★ Rich and Fun Interactive Mechanisms: Training Little Finger Muscles ★**__
Each book also features five specially designed push, pull, and turn cardboard interactive mechanisms. These not only train a child's small hand muscles and add dynamic interest to the story but also spark curiosity and enhance focus, allowing parents and children to enjoy a fun and interactive reading experience.
__**★ The Inspiration Behind the Creation ★**__
The author of this book, Huang Yuxuan, is a native of Taiwan.
He has long collaborated with major picture book publishing countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, accumulating over thirty works to date.
Recognizing the extremely low proportion of local picture books in the Taiwanese market, he dedicated a year to meticulous planning. In 2017, he launched the first original Tang poetry picture book series. Drawing upon his experience with European and American publishing teams, creative methods, market insights, and his own background steeped in Chinese culture since childhood, he brings these internationally-minded creative perspectives back to Taiwan, committed to creating the highest quality original Chinese educational publications for readers of all ages.

When I received the new travel-themed series of "Poetry with Manager Dog," it was just before I was bringing my child back to Paris. "Manager Dog Takes a Plane" became the perfect example to explain what flying is like to my 16-month-old child. Such a young child cannot yet read or grasp the story's narrative, but the book’s best feature is its engaging interactive elements for babies. My daughter could repeatedly reinforce her impression of the story's content through pushing, pulling, and turning actions. She would run to get this book every morning and busily play with the mechanisms. Looking closely at the content, the same book features bilingual Chinese and English, and even has phonetics! Through the charming illustrations of Manager Dog and his friends, it allows children to experience the essence of Tang poetry in a simple and understandable way from a young age. When the child is older and can understand the poems, they will immediately grasp the meaning. It's truly a children's book that can provide enjoyment from childhood into later years! This series has also become the best introductory material for my child to learn about Chinese culture and language as an overseas mother. Highly recommended for parents who prioritize language education!
