A bracelet crafted by connecting antique blood-red Whiteheart beads, ash-blue beads, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and jet black beads. The deep red beads are antique beads known as Whitehearts, named for their white core. These are Venetian beads from around the 19th-20th century. The particularly deep red hue is referred to as "blood-red." Blood-red Whitehearts are a popular and rare color. The jet black beads are old Indian beads, bearing the unique patina of having been worn for many years, dating back to approximately the 19th-20th century. Each small bead varies in size and shape, creating a rich and expressive texture (bead size: 3mm). The ash-blue and indigo blue beads are antique Indian-Pacific beads. The origins of Indian-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are archaeological finds from Indonesia, dating back an astonishing 1000 years to around the 10th century! The silver beads sandwiching the blood-red Whitehearts are exceptionally rare old Chin silver, heirloom pieces from the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. Used by Chin women in necklaces and other adornments, they exhibit a distinctive wear and endearing marks. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver, even though some modern pieces are also stylish. These beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The golden beads are old Orissa brass, ancient and rare beads from the state of Orissa in India. The charm on the clasp is also an old brass part from India. The beads on the loop of the clasp are Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped.
