We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing separately (do not soak). If machine washing, please place the garment in a laundry bag before washing. Air dry naturally after washing. It is advised to wash dark and light-colored items separately and avoid using bleach. Wrinkles are a normal characteristic of natural linen after washing. Gently smooth the fabric after washing and air dry. Then, iron at a high temperature to restore its smoothness. About Comme forêt We begin with a foundation of natural and fresh style clothing. Our process includes original design, pattern making, prototyping and modifications using two home sewing machines, and occasionally, outsourcing to a skilled seamstress aunt. We produce in very small batches locally in Taipei, hoping to recapture the beauty of small-batch handmade clothing. Our aim is to design comfortable and elegant garments, driven by the same original intention as making clothes for ourselves, family, or friends – we only create clothing we would want to wear ourselves.
