Rounded Yunomi with Engraved Gomphrena Flower Pattern

Crafted from coarse red earthenware clay, it evokes a sense of warmth characteristic of pottery. After being shaped into a charming, rounded yunomi form, an engraved pattern inspired by Gomphrena flowers was added. The entire piece was fired with a matte glaze, imparting a rustic texture, and then overglaze paints were applied to the engraved lines and fired again. Its cute, rounded silhouette fits comfortably in your hands, with the curves of the cup naturally conforming to your palms. The interior is a light hue, allowing you to fully appreciate the color of transparent beverages such as green tea or black tea. It's also perfect for drinks like cafe lattes or roasted green tea lattes, and can even be used as a vessel for ice cream or pudding. Enjoy it with a variety of drinks and dishes. All stages of creation, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are performed by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique expression, and you can enjoy the subtle charm that comes with being handmade. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. I continuously explore different glazes and clays, seeking the best combinations, and create a variety of pottery pieces in diverse colors and shapes. To address this, all our products undergo a waterproofing treatment with a ceramic sealant before shipping, so no further sealing is necessary upon receipt. This waterproofing process requires 2-3 days, which is why our shipping window is set at 5 days from order placement. If you do not require this treatment, please notify us at the time of purchase. - Due to the characteristics of the glaze colors, the pieces may appear whiter under morning light or white fluorescent lamps, and exhibit redder or yellower tones under evening light or warm-toned lighting. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are captured and edited to be as true to the actual product as possible.
