Many factors influence ring size, including finger shape, tendency to swell, measurement method, season, and temperature. Even with tools, a perfect fit cannot always be guaranteed; slight looseness or tightness is common. As long as the ring doesn't fall off due to being too loose or cause pain due to being too tight, it is considered normal. 2. When using a ring sizer, aim for a comfortable fit that doesn't fall off. If a size 12 is too loose and a size 11 is too tight, size 11.5 can be considered. Finger size is affected by thermal expansion and contraction; finger circumference in summer is typically about half a size larger than in winter. Consider this: ideally, the ring should feel slightly tight when tried on in summer and slightly loose in winter, or you can switch fingers depending on the season. __If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your ring size during periods of swelling__ to ensure accuracy. 3. If you don't have a measuring tool, it is recommended to visit a nearby jewelry store and ask them to measure your size with their tools for greater accuracy. 4. You can measure the inner diameter of an old ring and compare it to a ring size chart, or provide the measurement to the designer. __The inner circle of the old ring must be perfectly round; deformed rings are not suitable__. Be aware that visual distortions can also lead to inaccurate measurements. 5. Cut a strip of paper approximately 3mm wide. Wrap it snugly but comfortably around your finger (using paper that is too wide can affect the measurement). Mark where the paper overlaps.
