Created by Britain's Edith Holden in 1906, it chronicles the intimate details of her life in the English countryside. Through her brush, she meticulously rendered the flora and fauna she observed over a year. I am particularly drawn to her depictions of butterflies, birds, and wildflowers. Though Edith Holden may not be a household name, her work stands as the most tender record of rural flora I have ever seen. The subtle essence of the birds, the graceful movement of the flowers, the image of bees collecting nectar, and the captivating flight of butterflies. A simply beautiful old book. / Each page is graced with exquisite handwritten script and vibrant, full-color illustrations. The book contains 176 pages, later reissued by a British publisher. While other editions have surfaced abroad, this particular version holds a special place in my heart. / A glimpse into some of the inner pages has been provided. Should the content resonate with you, and you can embrace the subtle imperfections of a cherished used book (such as gentle creases, minor foxing, wear along the edges, or slight page separations) then this old book might just be the perfect, serendipitous find for you. 【 Please Note 】 ✓ The actual pages have aged to a warm yellow hue; the photos may appear slightly off-white or yellowish. ✓ This is a pre-loved vintage book, exhibiting natural signs of its history: expect gentle creases, minor spots of discoloration, wear on the book's edges, and potential minor tears on pages. ✓ This is a used, vintage item, not a brand-new book (after all, we deal in antiquities!). ✓ A cover photo is not currently available, as the cover designs vary significantly across different printings. If the content captures your interest, please proceed with your order. Focus on the beauty within rather than my weathered exterior. https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a01.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a02.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a03.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a04.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a05.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a06.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a07.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a08.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a09.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a10.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a11.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a12.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a13.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a14.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a15.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a16.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a17.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a18.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a19.jpg https://smilelife.tw/imgs/pro/2019_0214_a20.jpg
