Vintage English pasta plates from the "Alpine Meadow" series made by Wood & Sons. Wood & Sons was founded in 1865 in Burslem, Staffordshire, and became known for durable, well-designed English earthenware for domestic and export markets. The firm produced a wide range of transferware patterns and remained active until the second half of the last century. Alpine Meadow is a scenic transferware series featuring a romantic European style. Produced circa 1950s–1960s. These plates are in good condition with some possible surface marks due to usage.
